No one but Jesus
No one but Jesus I see,
I worship his majesty
He fills my life
Brightly he shone like the sun
Garments as white as the light
With him the prophets as one
Glorious sight!
No one but Jesus…
Then came a voice from above
Stronger than vision or dream
‘This is my Son whom I love
Listen to him!’
No one but Jesus…
Awesome the scene they beheld
Fearsome the voice that they heard
Slowly their terror was quelled
By Jesus’ words.
No one but Jesus…
When all the splendour had passed
When all the glory had gone
Only one vision could last –
Jesus alone.
